Brown and Holmes Derby have 2 full time design engineers on site and have a further pool of design engineers available within the group companies, we are capable of electrical and mechanical design and can flex and scale to the size of each individual project or program of work.
We work to ISO and Rolls-Royce approved design processes and systems, using the below suites of software dependent on customer demand / preference.

Where there is an existing design Brown and Homes Derby will conduct a manufacturability assessment to determine that we can provide a stable and suitable method of manufacture to enable right first time, high reliability product to customer.

Mechanical standards
Brown and Holmes Derby work and design to ASME standards all of our fitters are apprentice served and C&G qualified, all tooling such as torque wrenches are calibrated and we use verification block during setting.
We can measure large enclosures, panels and assemblies using our 3D scanners and Faro arm coordinate measuring equipment.

Processes
Brown and Holmes group contribute to our supply chain and provide fabricated, welded, coated and painted panels and cubicles as well as high tolerance precision components this gives us huge flexibility and the ability to expatiate high priority parts.
